The equipment we repair is not easily transportable therefore it’s necessary for us to service and repair onsite. Onsite service is convenient and efficient to our customer’s operational needs. For example if an electric bed is not operating, our ability to repair onsite saves the client having to move heavy beds around their facility. It minimises disruption to residents and staff, enabling them to keep their same bedding arrangement.
Regular preventative maintenance schedules are essential to maintaining your equipment for the safety of both staff and residents. They minimise preventable equipment failure, and keep your equipment meeting accreditation standards.
We suggest lifting and standing machines be serviced every six months, with a load test carried out annually, in accordance with our Hoist service schedule C. We also carry out annual electric bed servicing.
A comprehensive maintenance log is a record of the condition of the equipment which details each piece of equipment and records information such as serial numbers, manufacture date, asset number. By maintaining the comprehensive maintenance log any trends which may develop are easily identified.
All our calls are prioritised our according to urgency. In most cases once the technician arrives repairs can be completed at the time. We carry most commonly used spare parts in our service vans.

Common breakdowns are beds not going up or down, or the back rest has stopped working. This usually involves repair to handsets and control boxes. The various powered components of electric beds or hoists can for a number of reasons breakdown. Our ability to diagnose faulty equipment and locate the specific fault enables us to fix most issues at the time.
Indicators that service or repairs are required would include frequent breakdowns, intermittent faults and unreliable equipment.

Equipment parts and motors wear out over time. Without regular servicing and maintenance breakdowns can happen a lot faster.
Most times control boxes break down when the relay switch eventually wears out. The PCB's, relay switches and various delicate electrical components are all subject to normal stress but can sometimes through different operating procedures be subject to stresses outside of normal range. Actuators do have a lifespan and won’t last indefinitely.
